The 18-year-old made 17 Serie A appearances last season, scoring one goal, and 14 of those were in the starting XI.
A product of the Padova youth academy, the Ducali firmly believe his value will sky-rocket once he gets more regular playing time at the top level.
With that in mind, FCInterNews point out that the asking price of at least €40m is not going to drop, not even if it is spread out between €35m upfront and a further €5m in bonuses.
Leoni a great prospect for Italy

They already turned down a proposal for Leoni believed to be worth €25m plus €5m in add-ons from Premier League side Bournemouth.
The strongest interest is from Serie A pair Inter and Milan, who are reticent to pay such huge sums for a largely untested teenager.
Parma must also take into account that they owe his previous club Sampdoria a 10 per cent cut of the future sale fee.
