The 23-year-old recorded 16 goal contributions in 41 games in all competitions last season, but has been linked with a surprise £50million move to Arsenal.
Chelsea have been doing alot of transfer business over the past few weeks and after bringing in Joao Pedro from Brighton, the Blues are looking to free up some space in that attack, if you believe all the reports in the media.
Now – an agreement has now been struck, Fabrizio Romano reports, with Chelsea accepting *ARSENAL*’s offer which is in excess of £50million with add-ons included.
Madueke will now sign a five-year deal to become the sixth player to swap Stamford Bridge for the Emirates during Mikel Arteta’s reign in north London.

Maduake was one of the most impressive players for Enzo Maresca last season, so the news that he could be leaving the club this transfer window has come as a big surprise to many Blues fans, and many Gunners fans
Mikel Arteta likes to keep on improving the squad, but adding another winger to the side makes no sense at all, they have a number of players like Maduake in the side, and adding the winger would just take away money they need to sign a new striker.
Maduake may have to leave Chelsea in order to further his career, especially with all the new faces that have been signed this summer, but the fact that the Blues are letting him go just shows that they will take any offer for their players.
Some Blues fans will not be happy about this departure
TROSSARD TO LEAVE
Arsenal are open to selling Leandro Trossard after agreeing a £52 million deal to sign Noni Madueke from Chelsea, according to reports in the media that have emerged over the past 14-48 hours.
Now – an agreement has now been struck, Fabrizio Romano reports, with Chelsea accepting *ARSENAL*’s offer which is in excess of £50million with add-ons included, and his arrival will mean the end of the line for Trossard at the Emirates.
According to The Times, Fenerbahce have now agreed personal terms with the 30-year-old and will now negotiate a transfer fee with Arsenal, and it’s understood that Arsenal will demand a £20m fee for Trossard and are open to letting him leave the club before the end of the transfer window.
Speaking last season, Arteta described Trossard as ‘a bit of a moaner’ but insisted the Belgium international is ‘a really good character’ in his Arsenal squad.
‘Leo, naturally, is a bit of a moaner but I like that because he’s very competitive. When you have training sessions, he’s always busy with the referee’s decision, because he wants to win. That’s what I love,’ Arteta said.
‘He always wants to be the best and when he’s not there, he’s not happy. But that’s what pushes him. That’s where he comes in the pitch, he can make an impact because he’s got that drive, that anger which says: ‘I’m gonna show you.’ I love that about him.
‘He’s a really good character. They all want to play. Always want to play. Leo has shown a lot more consistency in the last 12 months, he’s deserved that. He’s had a lot of competition in his position. That’s it. Raise the level. If he plays at that level then he will play like anyone else.
‘He has the capacity to do something special in the final third.’
VLAHOVIC CHANCE?
There has been some shock reports in the media which have claimed that ARSENAL may get the opportunity to land long-term target Dusan Vlahovic from Juventus, if they cannot complete the signing of Sporting Lisbon star Viktor Gyokeres.
Mikel Arteta knows that he needs to delve into the transfer kitty this summer and add a new striker to that attack, and there has been many claims in the media that Gyokeres is the man that the Spaniard would like to sign.
Terms have reportedly been agreed, the player wants to come to the Emirates, but Arsenal have been struggling to wrap up the signing of Gyokeres, who netted an impressive 52 goals in 50 games for the Portuguese giants last season.
SunSport understand Vlahovic is high on Arsenal’s list of targets and they could even get him for free, with Juve reportedly willing to rip up his contract.
According to transfer insider Gianluca Di Marzio, the Bianconeri are looking to cut the striker’s £20million-a-year wages. And the Italian giants may even be up for cancelling his contract altogether.
Meetings are scheduled to take place next week with several Premier League clubs, including Man United
IcFootballnews says…
Vlahovic is quality and does score goals, but if he cannot get 25-30 in Seria A, then coming to the Premier League could be areal struggle, even if he managed to join a creative side like ARSENAL
Arsenal do need to add a striker to that attack this summer, they would really like to complete the signing of Viktor Gyokeres, so they will not be making a move for Vlahovic before they fail in their bid to sign the former Coventry star.
But if the reports are true and they could land Vlahovic for nothing, it would save them some serious cash.
