Agents of Everton target Georgios Vagiannidis were recently spotted in London, according to A Bola.
With a new stadium and new ownership, Everton finally appear to be embracing stability once again. David Moyes returned to the club in early 2025, 12 years after he initially departed Merseyside, steering them away from the relegation battle they almost found themselves embroiled in under Sean Dyche.
Prior to Moyes’ return, Everton faced a number of seasons in which their position within the Premier League appeared to be in jeopardy. While the Toffees were always successful in avoiding the drop, such safety was only ever confirmed within the final stretch of the campaign, something they will surely hope to avoid in the future.
Having confirmed the signing of striker Thierno Barry, Everton have been linked with a number of additions ahead of the upcoming season and may have been handed a boost in their pursuit of a defensive target that could prove to be a brilliant signing for the Toffees.

Panathinaikos' Giorgis Vagiannidis
A Bola have reported that Georgios Vagiannidis’ agents were recently spotted in London. However, it was for a meeting with officials of Sporting Lisbon. The 23-year-old has attracted the attention of several clubs with his form at Panathinaikos, and after his agents travelled to England for talks with the Portuguese giants, it has since been claimed that Everton are also keen on the player.

A player being tracked by numerous teams, Vagiannidis would reportedly cost around £13 million, a figure that could prove shrewd for a player that, in theory, could be part of Everton’s defence for years to come. Whether a deal is agreed, however, remains to be seen.
