The ongoing summer transfer market continues to have opportunities for FC Barcelona to explore. Even if certain targets manage to slip away, other options remain open and feasible. However, Barcelona still seem to have uncertainties in that regard.
After all, despite reports highlighting the hints that 27-year-old Barcelona-linked Marcus Rashford has been dropping recently, there still seems to be no consensus within the club. In fact, it seems that important figures within the club are also a factor playing a part in delaying the English forward’s arrival.

Still, it might be important for La Blaugrana to pick up the speed if they do not wish to be left behind. While they might have lost one potential rival in the race to sign Rashford, another one now seems to have popped up.
According to Mundo Deportivo, Serie A giants Juventus are now reportedly interested in the English winger as well. Considering the reputation and prestige of the Italian side as well, this is not a competitor that Barcelona would want to take lightly.
However, MD did reiterate that the player’s own preference and desire remains to join Barcelona this summer. The relationship between him and Manchester United seems to be at an all-time low right now, and several clubs seemingly want to take advantage of that fact.
Barcelona coach has already approved of Rashford
Yet, while the English side would ideally like a permanent transfer in the range of €40 million, a loan operation could be considered possible the longer this issue continues. For Barcelona, that would undeniably be the ideal scenario.
Previously, it was reported that Hansi Flick had approved of this operation and even gave his green light for it. However, it still remains to be seen just who ends up arriving this summer at Barcelona as they continue their search for a new left-winger.
