NFL Analyst Raves About One 'Nuclear' Aspect of New York Giants Roster

The New York Giants have plenty of issues. They don't have a very good offensive line, there are questions surrounding the quarterback room, and their secondary leaves much to be desired.

Despite that reality, one position group stands tall above the rest.

And not just on this roster.

Yes, the Giants' defensive line is considered one of the best in football. The addition of third-overall pick Abdul Carter, tied in with an All-Pro in Dexter Lawrence, makes New York's defensive front one of the most feared in the league.

That is something that ESPN Analyst Mina Kimes believes ... and she's not alone.

"Brian Burns, Dexter Lawrence, Abdul Carter, Kayvon Thibodeaux: that's a nightmare," she said on The Mina Kimes Show featuring Lenny.

"And they're deep. I like the tackles they have, they drafted Darius Alexander as well, you bring in (Dallas Cowboys ex) Chauncey Golston ... Every year, there's a defense where the pass-rush goes nuclear, and I feel like, why not the Giants? Why am I crazy to have them at 10?"

Kimes' ranking may indeed be too low for the Giants' line, as surprising as it is.

New York's potential along the group is as high as ever. Lawrence and Carter are the catalysts, joined by Brian Burns and Kayvon Thibodeaux. Each player is in the prime of his career, and all seem to be getting better.

Could they be good enough to finish in the top five of their position group?

If their stars along the line can stand out in 2025, there's a good chance there will be few offensive lines in the sport that can stop them.

It's what makes them the scariest group on this roster going into the new season. ... and maybe one of the scariest groups in the NFL.
