Grizzlies agree to contract buyout with Cole Anthony, plans to sign with Bucks

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) - As part of the Desmond Bane trade last month, Cole Anthony was sent to Memphis from the Orlando Magic.

After heavy speculation that his time in Memphis would not be long, ESPN’s Shams Charania reported Saturday night that Anthony and the Grizzlies agreed to a contract buyout.

Once Anthony clears waivers, he plans to join the Milwaukee Bucks on a one-year deal.

The 25-year-old averaged 9.4 points, 3.0 rebounds, and 2.9 assists on 42% shooting from the field this past season for Orlando.
