Go-to play available.

If Josh Grizzard has a slam dunk play to get some short yardage, this is probably it.

In the past three years, not many teams have converted fourth-and-one plays as well as the Bucs. So Grizzard, the new Bucs offensive coordinator, ought to have this play in his hip pocket.

The Bucs converted the eighth-highest percentage of fourth-and-one plays in the NFL. This from famed handicapper turned stathead Warren Sharp.

Now the Bucs don’t have a true fullback. Those guys are pretty much extinct. Rachaad White, of all people, is usually fairly decent at picking up a needed yard by plunging up the middle.

The past three seasons, the Bucs have converted 75 percent of their fourth-and-one situations.

Of course, this stat also suggests the Bucs have a damn good offensive line. Which they do.
