CL side identify Wolves player – Belief €35m needed to convince Vítor Pereira’s side

André left Fluminense for Wolverhampton Wanderers in August of last year and had an impressive debut season at Molineux.

The defensive midfielder quickly cemented his place in the starting lineup and maintained it even after Wolves replaced Gary O’Neil with Vítor Pereira in December.

André’s performances for Wolves haven’t gone unnoticed as Juventus have identified him as their new target. That’s according to Corriere dello Sport, and they state the Serie A side are looking at the Premier League club to strengthen their midfield.

Journalist Gianluca Di Marzio also reports the Turin club, who have qualified for next season’s Champions League, have set their sights on the 23-year-old.

He claims they have their eyes on him, especially if Douglas Luiz or another midfielder were to leave this summer.

Over at Calciomercato.it, they state the Brazil international is valued at €35m. Wolves could demand more than €35m as his contract lasts until 2029 and Transfermarkt currently value him at €28m.

Gazzetta dello Sport state work is ongoing to offload Luiz and Juve have identified the Wolves player as one of the candidates to replace him.

The Brazilian will occupy a non-EU slot and Juventus have to take this into consideration before making an approach for him. Gazzetta state there’s currently one slot left, after Juventus signed Canada international Jonathan David on a free transfer.
