Ruben Amorim’s new era at Old Trafford has resulted in a tactical shift, with players who were previously believed to be undroppable now playing on the sidelines.

Natural wide players are still impacted by the manager’s preferred formation, and Alejandro Garnacho appears to be one of the main casualties.

Garnacho’s future at Manchester United has been unknown for months.

Before the season finished, it was widely known that the winger and head coach Ruben Amorim had a falling out behind the scenes.

Attacking players make up the bulk of the players Ruben Amorim’s team has acquired thus far during the summer transfer window.

The pursuit of Bryan Mbeumo of Brentford and the purchase of Matheus Cunha serve as examples of this.

Despite this, Alejandro Garnacho’s summer plan hasn’t changed.

As per Fabrizio Romano via X, Alejandro Garnacho’s plan remains clear: he wants to continue in Premier League this summer.

His chapter at Manchester United is closed, but he wants to stay in Premier League.

Amorim’s decision to remove the star from his starting lineup was criticised by Garnacho in the post-match interview for the Europa League final.

“You better pray that you can find a club to sign you,” Amorim said to the 20-year-old in front of his teammates during training, refusing to let it go unpunished.

Garnacho publicly questioned Amorim’s choice to sit him in the post-game interview, stating: “Our season was s***.”

“We didn’t beat anyone in the league. We lacked a lot of things. When you don’t score goals, you always need more.”

“Until we reached the final, I played every round. And I played 20 minutes today – I don’t know. I’m going to try to enjoy the summer and see what happens next.”

With a move to another Premier League club drawing nearer, it remains what could’ve happened with Garnacho if it worked out at United.
