Phil Foden has had the privilege of playing with some of the greatest players to have ever donned a Manchester City shirt.
When the Englishman broke into the Manchester City first-team, he instantly had the chance to train and play alongside the likes of Vincent Kompany, Kevin De Bruyne and Yaya Toure to name a few.
Foden has always idolised David Silva, another City legend whom he had the opportunity to consider a teammate.
Pep Guardiola has always rated Foden highly and as a result, he gave him the chance to become a first-team player at just 17.

Phil Foden suggests Sergio Aguero is better than Erling Haaland
In Erling Haaland, the six-time Premier League winner has played with another player who might already be considered a legend by several Sky Blues fans.
De Bruyne feels Haaland could surpass Sergio Aguero, which goes to show how extraordinary a striker he is.

However, while picking his all-time Manchester City five-a-side team for Sports Direct, Phil Foden did not include the Norwegian in his side.
Sergio Aguero led the line instead of Haaland in Foden’s side, with Vincent Kompany, De Bruyne, David Silva and Ederson Moraes making the cut as well.

The Argentine is arguably Manchester City’s greatest player of all time and with the Stockport-born midfielder being a Sky Blues supporter, he must have a special connection with him as a fan and as a former teammate.
Aguero named Foden as his favourite player, as the pair continue to share a strong bond and in comparison to Haaland, his stats remain superior at Manchester City.
