Manchester United have been told to complete a summer transfer 'immediately'.

United are in the market for a new centre forward, with it still unknown whether Ruben Amorim wishes to stick with Rasmus Hojlund.

Hojlund has made it clear in recent weeks that he wants to stay and fight for his future at Old Trafford, but the Dane scored only five Premier League goals across the whole 2024/25 campaign.

Other options at present include Joshua Zirkzee and teenage prodigy Chido Obi, although it remains unclear just how much trust Amorim has in either option to lead his forward line.

The Red Devils missed out on Liam Delap, who opted to join Chelsea, whilst fellow option Viktor Gyokeres looks to be closing in on a deal with Arsenal.

Furthermore, Victor Osimhen, Hugo Ekitike and Ollie Watkins have all also been linked, with former Everton man Moise Kean the next name to have been reported.

But it is Dusan Vlahovic who has been advised to complete a move to the Theatre of Dreams this summer, especially given the ongoing uncertainty surrounding his career in Italy with Juventus.

Vlahovic, 25, will not budge on his wage demands and does not appear to be integrating well with new manager Igor Tudor’s plans and thus causing a logjam up front.

Former Juve striker Darko Kovacevic has insisted he should seek pastures new with haste, and given talk around a move to the Premier League, his wish may come true.

"I’d say to Dušan to move on immediately," the 51-year-old told Gazzetta dello Sport.

"It’s not easy to leave Juventus, I say this from personal experience, but sometimes you have to get back in the game to get back to being happy and at the top. Someone like Vlahović must always be a starter, at Juventus or elsewhere."

Asked which club the Serbian forward would suit best, he added: "We can’t afford him at Olympiacos, but Milan and Manchester United would be good options for Dušan.

"And maybe Nottingham Forest… That’s a joke: we’re owned by the same club as the English club, but I only work for Olympiacos.”
