Two new targets emerge for Warriors in free agency

Golden State Warriors are still exploring their options this offseason, and two players have emerged as potential targets as the team looks to maximize what could be the final years of their championship core.

While the Warriors continue to monitor the free agency status of Al Horford, NBA insider Brett Siegel reports that Golden State may also be interested in adding Seth Curry and Ben Simmons.

Seth, the younger brother of Warriors legend Stephen Curry, would bring elite shooting and a sentimental twist to the roster.

Though not on the same level as Steph, Seth remains one of the league’s top perimeter threats. Last season, he averaged 6.5 points per game while shooting 47.8% from the field and an impressive 45.6% from beyond the arc.

Simmons, on the other hand, presents a different kind of value. Once viewed as a franchise cornerstone, the former No. 1 overall pick has seen his stock fall in recent years due to injuries and confidence issues.

Still, his size, defensive versatility, and playmaking remain intriguing. He averaged 5.0 points, 4.7 rebounds, and 5.6 assists per game last season while shooting 52.0% from the floor.
