Callum Wilson available but unlikely for Leicester City

Well, the Foxes recruitment department are likely awaiting the installation of a new manager before letting loose in the market. However, targets and opportunities will evade the East Midlands outfit unless they get their act together fast. Leicester must begin making moves in this summer's transfer market - before it's too late to claim some standout talent. And, most recently, a suggestion emerged that the Foxes would swoop for Queens Park Rangers' star up-and-coming forward Rayan Kolli. That's after the East Midlanders secure one-time QPR head coach Marti Cifuentes. We're gonna be really popular at Loftus Road!
Though, in addition to Kolli, the King Power outfit were implored to sign a very gifted but injury-ravaged Premier League centre forward. City have been tipped, or urged, to make a transfer move for ex-Newcastle United striker Callum Wilson. While this proposal now sounds a bit silly with the Leicestershire team down in the Championship, Wilson may be short of offers for various reasons.

If Leicester could capture the Englishman on a very fair contract, and have certain fitness assurances, Wilson could be a relatively cost-free acquisition. Of course, the 33-year-old is available for free having departed St James' Park a couple of weeks ago.

Even though at least two prominent and typically accurate English Football League outlets are encouraging City to target Wilson, there is no suggestion in the media that Leicester are eyeing him. His injuries, wages and possibly desire to remain in the Premier League could scupper a hypothetical agreement.
Furthermore, the England international will take a pay-cut; he may even reportedly agree to a pay-as-you-play contract. Conversely, EPL sides like Manchester United and Leeds United are apparently interested.
