Evan Ferguson has moved closer to a loan move to Italian side Roma after they reported back for pre-season training.
Reports in Italy today indicate that the Meath native has agreed to a loan move away from Brighton to Roma, despite interest from other Serie A clubs, but the hold-up now is down to discussions between the two clubs over a fee if they want to make the deal permanent, with Roma so far unwilling to meet Brighton's demand for €45m if the loan does become permanent.
