West Ham United had a bid of £17 million (€20m) rejected for the 20-year-old left-back some weeks ago but have now accepted to pay £22m for his services, with £5m to come in add-ons.

Update: West Ham are set to pay £22m plus £5m in add-ons for Diouf. There are still small details to sort out, deal not 100% there, but signing will happen and kickstart the rebuild #whufc https://t.co/JWSasWcJru

The Hammers have yet to make any signing so far this summer and Diouf could become their first arrival as manager Graham Potter looks to rebuild his squad and challenge for the continental places next season.

West Ham finished 14th in the Premier League last season and Potter will be desperate to see them perform better going forward after an underwhelming campaign.
