Arsenal have signed yet another player from Chelsea in the summer transfer window as a further deal between the London rivals was announced on Saturday.
The player in question is also the son of a former Champions League winner who was a surprise name when the Blues lifted the trophy for the first time in 2012.
He opted to swap west London for the north of the capital after appearing as a trialist for Chelsea's U21 team eight times in 2024-25.
The talented teenager is the son of Ryan Bertrand, who started the 2012 final for Chelsea against Bayern Munich - which Chelsea won on penalties.
Bertrand then went on to become a Premier League regular for Southampton, where he made 240 appearances after moving from Stamford Bridge in 2015 following a loan spell on the South Coast.
However, Marcell Washington, 17, revealed that he will not be taking his own footballing career for granted despite his father's success.

He told Arsenal's club website: 'I think it's been such an honour to have him take me through clips and walk me through games that I've played,' Marcell said on his signing day.
'He's really passionate about making me a better player and probably a better version of him. We might have a bit of an argument about it but you get it out of him. '
'My ambitions are just to prove in every game you play and every training session you have. I think football is all about proving. I feel like just because I've signed this contract doesn't necessarily mean that I've made it.
'I think I've got a lot to prove and I'm looking forward to doing that. Hopefully, obviously, the coaching staff can see that through my game.
'It's a very welcoming club. From day one when I came here, I felt really welcomed. That goes from the staff to the players.
'I think it's a really big club, obviously. The club are always striving to win trophies. I'm just looking to be an addition to that and see what I can offer the club.'
His signing comes after Arsenal already agreed a deal to bring Kepa Arrizabalaga to the Emirates Stadium having activated his £5million release clause.
The Gunners are also set to confirm the signing of Kepa's former team-mate Noni Madueke for a fee of £52million.
