"I have confirmed this was Cooper Flagg's last appearance in the Summer League," Stein reported. "He is not scheduled to play Monday."
Flagg will now turn his focus toward training camp and preseason, where fans will next get a chance to see him suit up.
The 18-year-old Duke product had an impressive bounce-back showing in his second game, despite the Mavericks’ 76-69 loss to the San Antonio Spurs.
After a quiet debut, Flagg exploded for 31 points on 10-of-20 shooting, including three triples. He also added four rebounds, one assist, one block, and got to the line 13 times, converting eight of them.
The Mavs will take on the Charlotte Hornets next in Las Vegas, but Flagg will be watching from the sidelines. While his Summer League is done, his brief showing has already left a strong impression.
