The teams reportedly exploring possibilities are the Dallas Mavericks, Golden State Warriors, Cleveland Cavaliers, and Los Angeles Clippers.
Despite the trade chatter, LeBron himself has not requested a trade. At 40 years old, soon to turn 41 in December, James holds a no-trade clause in his contract, giving him full control over any potential moves.
Last season, LeBron played in 70 games, averaging 24.4 points, 7.8 rebounds, and 8.2 assists per game, proving he still has plenty to offer on the court.
He recently opted into his $52.6 million player option for the 2025–26 season, which is the final year of his current contract, marking a first in his long and storied NBA career.
While teams continue to explore the idea of acquiring the four-time NBA champion, it remains to be seen whether LeBron will decide to change teams or finish his career with his current squad.
