Milwaukee Bucks: Team President Found Giannis Antetokounmpo Trade Rumors Laughable, Says…

The Giannis Antetokounmpo trade rumors won’t stop. This is despite him declaring his love for the Milwaukee Bucks. Some thought there really is a chance that he will leave this season but for team president Peter Peter Feigin, he and his colleagues found these rumors funny.

Hopping on the broadcast team for the Bucks Summer League game against the Los Angeles Clippers, Feigin shared some details on what was going on their offices while the media declare rumors about his team and their superstar.

“We kinda laugh internally. It’s where we’ve been for 10 years,” Feigin said.

He then declared the mutual love between the Greek Freak, the team, and the city.

“It think we kind of fun, little joy, in everybody else thinking they know what’s going on and what the clickbait is,” he continued.

“For us, we’re in a good spot. Giannis is in a good place. He’s enjoying the summer. We’re looking forward to next season.”

Are Milwaukee Bucks really in a good place?

The team introduced their new big player in Myles Turner on Friday and both Doc Rivers and Jon Horst sound bullish about their upcoming season and the former Indiana Pacers center’s fit with Giannis.

“If you could sit down before free agency started and draw the perfect fit next to Giannis, it was a picture of him,” Rivers said pointing to Turner sitting next to him during the press-con.

“I don’t think people get how hard it is to win enough. Just, people don’t get it. Myles and I started talking about it … and I said, ‘Yeah, winning is hard, man. And it takes everything out of you, and everything has to go right. Health and playing together and the team meshing and the right shot. It just takes so much.’”

Milwaukee Bucks, Brook Lopez, Giannis Antetokounmpo

Turner is arguably the biggest change the team embraced to surround Antetokounmpo with capable players and get back to contention. They also let go Brook Lopez, Damian Lillard, and Pat Connaughton.

They retained the players they had from last season, especially those who played well with the Greek Freak in the latter part of the season. Kevin Porter Jr., Gary Trent Jr., and Bobby Portis – all re-signed – helped the team stitch 8 straight wins coming off the bench.

The new players in the the team are Anthony Cole and Gary Harris from the Orlando Magic and both are expected to fill the role vacated by Lillard one way or another.

The team still has one roster spot left and rumors have it that it will go to the Greek Freak’s brother Thanasis Antetokounmpo who sat out the 2024-25 season due to ACL tear.
