Wolves are gearing up for the start of the 2025/26 Premier League season

Wolves have seen the likes of Matheus Cunha and Rayan Ait-Nouri head out the exit door this summer. The pair left for Manchester United and Manchester City respectively. Therefore, the Midlands outfit have some vacancies to fill in their squad.

Vitor Pereira is preparing for his first full season in charge. He was brought in as their replacement for Gary O’Neil during the last campaign. The Portuguese boss has since done an impressive job and has become a popular figure.

Wolves eye Crystal Palace winger Jesurun Rak-Sakyi

According to The Scottish Sun, Wolves will ‘join’ the race for Crystal Palace winger Jesurun Rak-Sakyi. The winger is wanted by Rangers and is valued at the £10million mark. His long-term future at Selhurst Park is up in the air right now amid attention from elsewhere.

Rak-Sakyi, 22, played for Chelsea up until 2019. He subsequently linked up with the Eagles as a youngster and has since been a regular for them at various different youth levels. The England youth international has made 10 appearanecs for the first-team so far in his career.

The Londoner was given the green light to head out on loan for the first time when Charlton Athletic came calling. He was a hit during his time at The Valley whilst the Addicks were in League One and scored 15 goals in 49 games in all competitions. Sheffield United then swooped in last year and he went on to play 37 matches for the Blades altogether, finding the net on seven occasions.

Would Jesurun Rak-Sakyi suit Wolves?

Wolves could see Rak-Sakyi as someone to boost their attacking ranks ahead of next term in the top flight. If he joined, he would give them more competition and depth on the wing. In addition, he has potential to get better in the future and is still young.

After signing for Sheffield United on a temporary basis last August, the Blades’ former boss Chris Wilder said at the time: "This deal was particularly pleasing to get over the line just because of the nature of the interest in Jesurun. His loan spell at Charlton really put him on the map and last season he enjoyed some Premier League experience, so with that in mind, he was always going to command interest. I'd like to thank Dougie Freedman and everyone at Palace for trusting us with the next stage of Jes's development. I've also got to mention our old mate Dean Henderson, who gave Jes a glowing reference of what we're about here.

"Many will have seen the speculation in the media over the last month, and some of the clubs linked, including ones in the Premier League, so I am really pleased that the lad has decided to come here. He's still young, and has lots to learn, but he has real talent and he's someone who has the ability to get the punters off their seats. Again, like some of the other players we've taken this summer, he's someone we'll enjoy working with."
