Marcus Rashford has rejected a hugely lucrative offer from Saudi Arabia as he only wants to join Barcelona this summer.
According to [Mundo Deportivo](https://www.mundodeportivo.com/futbol/fc-barcelona/20250713/1002499085/rashford-dice-oferton-arabia.html), an unnamed Saudi club offered a deal worth £34 million, but the 27-year-old turned down their proposal.
United are open to offers for Rashford as they look to boost their spending power.
They sent the forward on loan to Aston Villa for the second half of last season, where he managed to revitalise his career with four goals and six assists in 17 appearances.
However, the England international is deemed surplus to requirements at Old Trafford and [the Red Devils are ready to sell to whoever will match their £40 million valuation](https://footballtoday.com/2025/05/15/man-united-set-40-million-price-tag-for-marcus-rashford-3-clubs-he-could-join-this-summer/).
Rashford has made it clear that he wants to play for Barcelona next season, and though the La Liga giants are also keen, the financial costs for a deal remain a major stumbling block.
He is currently earning £325,000-per-week wages at United, and the Catalan giants are unable to match those terms.
Barcelona are interested to sign Rashford on loan with an option to buy included in the deal.
But United want a permanent deal for their academy product, as they look to invest that money to strengthen their squad for next season.
They have already completed a move for Matheus Cunha and are currently in talks to seal a transfer for Brentford’s Bryan Mbeumo.
