West Ham are on the lookout for a new starting goalkeeper.
The Hammers have parted ways with Lukasz Fabianski and are in need of a shot stopper moving into the new Premier League campaign.
This now looks set to result in a sizable recruitment drive for Graham Potter, who will be keen to add to his squad in the coming weeks.
It appears that the English head coach has been working to land a new keeper after prior links to exit-bound Chelsea man, Djordje Petrovic.

It is fair to say that many supporters have reached the end of their tether with Alphonse Areola, whose inconsistency has become hugely frustrating.

The France international is capable of the spectacular, but can often make an error which costs his side dearly when needed most.
As a result, it would make complete sense to make a move for Petrovic, who seems to be on his way out of Stamford Bridge this summer.
The Serbia international was left out of Chelsea’s winning Club World Cup squad after a year on loan at Strasbourg and has since been linked with a host of club’s including Bournemouth.

With a move to the Cherries seemingly being delayed, it could prove to be the perfect chance for the Irons to step up their interest.
Former Brentford and Leicester City manager Martin Allen believes Potter will be working hard to land a new keeper, whilst remaining sceptical over the signing of the 25-year-old.
Speaking exclusively to West Ham Zone, Allen said: “I do believe that West Ham needs a new number one.
“Who can take that role? I’ve always found those Eastern European goalkeepers to be good.
“Nowadays, especially with the way that Graham Potter wants to play, you’ve got to have a keeper who plays out from the back on the floor.
“It is a tough job to find someone who can do that. Potter has work on his hands to find one because everyone will be looking for the same thing.
“*Petrovic hasn’t been seen enough in the Premier League to know how good he’d be quite yet.*“

Petrovic signing questioned at West Ham
After the sale of Mohammed Kudus to Tottenham, it is fair to assume that there are funds available to be spent in East London in the coming weeks.
With that in mind, a move to find a goalkeeper is likely to be on the priority list, but a large fee may not be outlaid on that position.
As a result, a move for Petrovic could prove to be ideal if Chelsea are keen to part ways with the Serb before the new campaign kicks off.
