Leeds United would have been hoping for a few more exits this summer. The club’s transfer business has been bringing new players in so far.
The Whites have signed four new players in the transfer window. Lukas Nmecha, Sebastiaan Bornauw, Jaka Bijol and Gabriel Gudmundsson have been solid additions from very good teams around Europe.

On the other hand, the only transfer exit this summer is Max Wober. The Austrian left the club to join Werder Bremen on a loan deal. Some would be disappointed, as there are quite a few names that have been linked with moves away from the club. Earlier this summer, Illan Meslier, Sam Greenwood and Joe Gelhardt were some of the players tipped to leave.

Leeds United will want a fee for Jack Harrison

Jack Harrison surprised a lot of people when he returned to Elland Road after his loan at Everton. Many expected him to join the Toffees on a permanent deal.
But now, the forward is back, and has even joined the squad for pre-season preparations. His future is up in the air, with Everton reportedly eyeing a move. Former Leeds man Paul Robinson believes the club will want to recoup part of the £10million fee they paid for him:
“I’m not sure he’s got a future at Leeds with the manager there,” he told Football Insider.
“I think the way that the manager has been quite open to letting him go, whether it was financially or whatever the reason was in the Championship…
“Look at some of the other characters that he’s moved out of the dressing room, Daniel Farke, and the players that he likes to work with.
“Jack Harrison, at 28, is still contracted at Leeds until 2028 which is surprising.
“Whoever’s going to come in for him, it would likely be a loan, potentially a fee involved.
“Leeds paid £10million to sign him from Manchester City in 2021, I don’t think they’ll get that, but somebody may take a chance for around that mark.”
Everton interest
There is valid interest from the Toffees. David Moyes is reportedly keen on brining Harrison back. Everton view him as a low-cost option that can strengthen the club while the team spend huge fees on certain areas of the squad.
There is no need for Harrison on this Leeds team
Leeds have moved past the need for Jack Harrison. The club now have wide players who can give solid contributions in attack. Just last season, Dan James has 12 goals and nine assists, while Wilfried Gnonto had nine goals and six assists.
If the club want to add another attacker, he will surely not be in the mould of Jack Harrison.
