Liverpool, Manchester United, Crystal Palace set to lose race to sign 24-year-old Serie A…

Crystal Palace, Liverpool, and Manchester United have been keen on signing 24-year-old Swiss international Dan Ndoye from Bologna, but Napoli will likely win the battle.

According to a report by Graeme Bailey on TBR Football, Crystal Palace, Manchester United, and Liverpool are interested in Dan Ndoye. However, the 24-year-old Bologna attacker will likely move across Serie A to join Napoli in the summer transfer window, with the Partenopei closing in on securing the agreement for a summer deal.

Dan Ndoye and his Serie A adventure

Dan Ndoye has gone from strength to strength since joining Bologna from FC Basel in August 2023. The 24-year-old has steadily grown in stature at the Renato Dall’Ara Stadium in the last two years, and he enjoyed an exceptional 2024/25 campaign.

Ndoye contributed to 15 goals in 41 appearances across all competitions by finding the back of the net nine times and providing six assists. Meanwhile, the 24-year-old attacker’s progress has not gone unnoticed, capturing the attention of several well-known clubs across Europe. Crystal Palace, Liverpool, and Manchester United have been among the prospective suitors vying for his signature in the summer transfer window.

A man in demand

Widespread reports have heavily linked the Swiss international with Crystal Palace. The Eagles are keen on reinforcing their offensive unit by signing a versatile attacker in the summer transfer window amid uncertainties surrounding Eberechi Eze’s long-term future. So, several candidates have emerged on Crystal Palace’s radar, with Ndoye also a viable target.

Meanwhile, Dan Ndoye has been on Liverpool’s radar for a long time. The continued interest is understandable, considering Luis Diaz faces an uncertain future at Anfield. So, Ndoye is an option worth considering for Liverpool. As for Manchester United, the Red Devils are eager to bolster their offensive unit by signing a versatile and productive attacker.

While Bryan Mbeumo is closing in on arriving from Brentford, Manchester United must replace multiple attackers amid uncertainties surrounding the long-term futures of Marcus Rashford, Antony, Jadon Sancho, and Alejandro Garnacho. So, Ndoye is a viable target for Manchester United. However, the three Premier League clubs have lost the battle for his signature, with Napoli closing in on securing his services.

While the Serie A champions are yet to finalise the agreement to sign the 24-year-old Swiss international, they are closing in on securing his services. So, Crystal Palace, Liverpool, and Manchester United must look elsewhere for a new attacker this summer.
