Nottingham Forest are busy trying to step up their efforts to bring new players to the City Ground before the new Premier League season gets underway.
Anthony Elanga has departed for Newcastle and now there are doubts over Morgan Gibbs-White, who is the subject of interest from Tottenham ahead of the new season.
Forest have added Igor Jesus to their ranks, whilst Ross Wilson praised Jair Cunha after he signed for the Reds over the weekend, also from Botafogo.
Evangelos Marinakis has some work to do in order to strengthen the squad, with the group available to Nuno Espirito Santo considerably weaker than it was when the season finished.

Nottingham Forest short in quest to sign Richard Rios
It was claimed yesterday that Manchester United wanted to sign Richard Rios, but it appears as though teams are going to have to get serious when it comes to bidding for the Colombian.
According to Gianluigi Longari, Forest have made the highest bid at the moment with £26 million, the offer made by the Reds and rejected by Palmeiras.
Wolves are also in the mix to land him and have had their own bid rejected, too. Roma and United remain in the background, ready to swiftly move for the central midfielder.
Rios looks likely to leave Palmeiras this summer, and it would appear that Europe is going to be a likely destination for the central midfielder.
MORE FOREST STORIES
Palmeiras are standing firm on a valuation of £30 million, however, and clubs will have to up the ante if they’re to sign him this summer.
Forest don’t need to prioritise Rios this summer
It does feel somewhat odd that Forest are going to add another central midfielder to the ranks, given the options already available to the club.
With Elanga going and Gibbs-White potentially going, the Reds have to get busy when it comes to bringing attacking players to the club this summer.
Ramon Sosa has already gone to Palmeiras and if Forest were dead set on signing Rios, perhaps a deal would have been struck when that particular move happened.
Rios is clearly a very talented footballer and it’s good that Forest are going to be in search of the best players from South America once again.
However, the Colombian international doesn’t feel like a priority right now and perhaps this is one for Forest to revisit later in the window.
