Arsenal have been a very busy club in this summer’s transfer window.
The Gunners have already brought in Martin Zubimendi, Kepa Arrizabalaga and Christian Norgaard to the Emirates, and a few more players are expected to come in.
Arsenal’s next signing is set to be Noni Madueke, for whom a £52 million deal has been agreed with London rivals Chelsea.
Once the Englishman arrives, a current Arsenal player may have to move on.
Stewart Robson thinks Leandro Trossard’s Arsenal career could be over
Leandro Trossard has been at Arsenal for two-and-a-half years now.
The Belgian was signed by the Gunners after their deal to bring in Mykhaylo Mudryk was hijacked by Chelsea in January 2023.
Trossard has been a fine player for Arsenal, especially considering that he only cost an initial fee of £20 million from Brighton.
Now, with Mikel Arteta about to sign Madueke, Stewart Robson believes Trossard’s time at the Emirates is up, as his role will be taken over by the England winger.

Speaking about Madueke, Robson said on ESPN FC: “He is inconsistent, but I have seen him have some great games.
“He’s going to be a challenge for (Gabriel) Martinelli, I would imagine, to start with. I think he prefers to play on the right-hand side, but I think with (Bukayo) Saka in the side most weeks, it’s going to be out on the left-hand side that he is going to play.
“I think it probably means the end, really, for Trossard playing on the left-hand side. It’s going to be Martinelli or Madueke.”
Leandro Trossard could leave Arsenal for a European giant
Trossard is 30 years old, but he is still capable of playing at the highest level.
The Belgium international is incredibly versatile and can play anywhere in attack. He is great on the ball, a very good dribbler, and he is arguably Arsenal’s best finisher.
That is probably why Bayern Munich have included the ‘unbelievable’ Trossard on their list of targets.
Christian Falk has revealed that if Bayern’s move for Liverpool star Luis Diaz falls through, the Arsenal number 19 could emerge as their preferred option.
Reports elsewhere have claimed that Trossard has agreed terms with Fenerbahce, but Bayern are a more attractive option.
It remains to be seen what Arsenal’s plan is for Trossard. With Madueke and potentially even Eberechi Eze joining Arsenal, cashing in on the 30-year-old may just be the best option.
