Leeds United will need plenty more investment from the 49ers this summer if they are to survive in the Premier League.
The Whites have already secured four new additions after their promotion from the Championship, but with the gap between the two divisions growing bigger by the season, they will need more fresh faces through the door if they are to compete.
Kyle Walker-Peters is one man who has been linked with a move to Elland Road, as Daniel Farke looks to bolster his options on the right side of his defence.
Jayden Bogle proved himself to be a solid option last term, but there is little depth beyond that, meaning a new arrival in that area will be crucial.

Walker-Peters is set to join Besiktas
Leeds had been handed a big opportunity to sign Walker-Peters, with his former club Tottenham failing to prioritise a return move for their former academy graduate.

The 28-year-old has bags of Premier League experience and has proven himself to be a consistently quality performer in the top flight across a number of seasons.
He was released by Southampton following their relegation, and he would have been a fantastic signing for the Whites on a free transfer.

However, it now seems as though the 49ers are going to have to face the music, having missed out on another of their key transfer targets.
Walker-Peters has agreed a deal with Besiktas and is flying into Istanbul on Monday (14 July) to complete his medical, according to Milliyet (14 July).
The full-back has agreed to sign a three-year deal worth just over £58,000-per-week with the Turkish giants, and will seemingly be announced as a Besiktas player in the coming days.

The 49ers have been disappointing so far this summer
Leeds have already lost out to Sunderland on both Habib Diarra and Noah Sadiki, and their frustrating summer is set to continue, having now missed out on another target.
The 49ers have been largely excellent for the West Yorkshire outfit since their takeover, but they certainly have questions to answer.
There is clearly a desire to back Farke, as the club have been linked with countless big-money moves.
However, they have had issues when it comes to getting deals over the line, whether that be down to inefficiency in their business or indecision from within.
The Whites worked desperately hard to secure promotion last term, but if they continue to fail to nail down their transfer targets, then they could easily find that all their hard work goes to waste next term.
