According to Spanish outlet Defensa Central, he has reportedly stated that if he makes the switch, he’d like to be able to play on the left flank.
After another season without any silverware, Arsenal are looking to add new players into their attack. They had a good season by finishing second in the Premier League. They reached the semi finals of the Champions League as well. Now, head coach Mikel Arteta wants to have a squad capable of going all the way next season. **The Gunners**are imminently signing Noni Madueke from Chelsea.
Rodrygo has seen limited playing time since new boss Xabi Alonso took over. So he could be the next name on Arteta’s radar. The winger joined Los Blancos in 2019 and he is eager to get time on the pitch in his preferred role.

If Rodrygo does arrive at the Emirates, his left-sided role could be a blessing for Arsenal. Bukayo Saka is the main man on the right wing, but the left side has been the issue.
