Milwaukee Bucks laugh off Giannis trade rumors

Despite ongoing speculation about his future, the Bucks remain confident Giannis Antetokounmpo will stay in Milwaukee, with team president Peter Feigin calling the situation "business as usual."

Milwaukee Bucks superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo is reportedly exploring all options this summer for the first time in his career—but the franchise isn't concerned about the outside noise.

Team president Peter Feigin addressed the rumors during the Las Vegas Summer League, offering a calm response.

"We kind of laugh internally, it's where we have been for 10 years. Giannis loves Milwaukee, Milwaukee loves Giannis," he said on NBA TV. "We're in a good place, we feel great about it. It's business as usual.

"I think we get a fun little joy in everybody else thinking they know what's going on and what the clickbait is, but for us, we're in a good spot," Feigin added. "Giannis is in a good place, he is enjoying the summer. We're looking forward to the next season."

Despite the ongoing chatter about a possible move, Giannis recently told YouTuber and streamer Speed that he'll "probably" stay in Milwaukee.

Still, the situation remains fluid. According to ESPN's Shams Charania, there's no resolution on the horizon.

"There are definitely multiple teams that are continuing to monitor his situation," Charania said on SiriusXM NBA Radio. "I think until training camp and the season starts, it's gonna be that way."

Giannis, a two-time MVP, has spent his entire NBA career with the Bucks and led the team to a championship in 2021.
