Alejandro Garnacho receiving offers to help with transfer away from Man Utd

Alejandro Garnacho's agents have reportedly turned down offers to facilitate a transfer away from Manchester United. Pini Zahavi's Gol International agency reached out to Garnacho's representatives at Leaders, managed by Carlos Cambeiro and Enrique de Lucas, but Cambeiro is determined to orchestrate a move without any external help.

Zahavi, who has longstanding ties with Chelsea and represents the club's forward Christopher Nkunku through Gol International, proposed a swap deal involving Nkunku and Garnacho last month. However, United are not interested in the French international, according to the MEN.

High-profile intermediaries occasionally step in to negotiate transfers when representatives lack experience. Jorge Mendes played a minor yet crucial role in Bruno Fernandes' transfer to United from Sporting in January 2020.

Cambeiro has been representing Garnacho since his move from Atletico Madrid's academy to United in October 2020. Cambeiro and De Lucas, who spent a season at Chelsea in 2002-03, visited Stamford Bridge in January when the Club World Cup winners were contemplating making a bid for Garnacho.

Chelsea have signed winger Jamie Gittens from Borussia Dortmund and are close to selling Noni Madueke to Arsenal. Garnacho is one of four wingers that United are looking to offload before the transfer window shuts on September 1.

Garnacho did not report for pre-season training last week, following an agreement with the club due to his wish to depart. It is highly unlikely that Garnacho will be part of the squad heading to Chicago for their pre-season tour next Tuesday.

Marcus Rashford, Jadon Sancho and Antony are also reportedly planning exits from Old Trafford this summer. Rashford has been spotted conducting solo sessions at United's Carrington training complex, arriving just eight minutes after head coach Ruben Amorim departed on Friday.

Interestingly, Rashford used the rear entrance while Amorim exited through the front.

Antony is willing to accept a salary reduction to conclude his three-year tenure at United, whilst Sancho's agents have initiated talks with clubs in Italy.
