Everton are set to take on Accrington Stanley as David Moyes’ players get some much-needed minutes ahead of the new Premier League season.
With just one new face brought in this summer in Thierno Barry, it’s expected that some young talent will be given a go.
The Everton faithful will be hoping to see a glimpse of their new signing and see how he adapts to English football.
Plenty of players left the Toffees at the end of last season, and the game will give Moyes the chance to see whether there are any others he wants moving on.

While pre-season is a chance for new signings to settle in, it is also an opportunity for academy products to stake their claim.
MORE TOFFEES STORIES
Having been in and around the first team squad last season, 17-year-olds Douglass Lukjanciks and Braiden Graham could be involved at Accrington.
With Everton having no senior option at right-wing, after Jack Harrison returned from his loan, it could be an opportunity for youngsters to impress.
Defensive duo James Tarkowski and Seamus Coleman were not pictured taking part in training drills last week and aren’t expected to play any major part in the friendly.
Everton predicted lineup
Of the squad that travelled to Scotland, James Garner, Carlos Alcaraz, McNeil and Nathan Patterson could all be utilised.
Two players who could be in line to benefit from Everton’s lack of squad depth are Harry Tyrer and Isaac Heath.
Tyrer is the Toffees’ only goalkeeping option after Jordan Pickford. Moyes’ side are working on a deal for Mark Travers, but for now, Tyrer can show what he can do.
Heath could be given a chance to start at right-back, with Coleman unlikely to be involved.
McNeil and Alcaraz may be utilised out wide, with academy starlet Harrison Armstrong alongside Tim Iroegbunam and James Garner in central midfield.

Prediction: Accrington 0-1 Everton
After only just surviving relegation to the National League, Accrington will be hoping to use their game against Everton to renew some confidence in their side.
The game will be a good run-out for the Toffees and their youngsters.
It will be a chance for Moyes to experiment and implement some new tactics on his side, while also giving players minutes to recover from any injury struggles.
As with any pre-season game, there are expected to be many in-game changes, but Goodison News predicts a steady outing for the Blues, with a 1-0 win to follow.
