PHILADELPHIA — The phrase “Super Bowl repeat” won’t be a part of Eagles coach Nick Sirianni’s messaging this season, for Sirianni believes making it the main focus of his message could distract his team from improving.
Instead, Sirianni has emphasized the term “sustained success,” which he said is the intent of getting better every day and not letting past accomplishments, like winning last year’s Super Bowl against the Kansas City Chiefs, or future aspirations, like hoisting another Lombardi Trophy next February, create complacency.
