Kosta Nedeljkovic has rejoined RB Leipzig on loan for the 2025/26 season.

Aston Villa loaned the right-back out to Leipzig back in January and also agreed to a buy clause worth around £9m.

Leipzig, however, did not take up that opportunity after missing out on European football last season.

The 19-year-old made 10 appearances in the Bundesliga last season and started six games after joining on loan.

"I'm very happy to be able to wear the RB Leipzig jersey again next season,” Nedeljkovic said after signing for Leipzig again. “The club has given me a sense of trust and belonging from day one.

“I've also been able to develop well over the past few months. That's why it's a huge motivation for me to give my all to help us achieve our goals together in the new season. I'm excited to be back and will give it my all right from the start."

Nedeljkovic only signed for Villa permanently in January 2024, but spent the remainder of the 2023/24 campaign at his former club Crvena zvezda.

After linking up with Unai Emery’s squad last summer, he struggled for minutes in the Premier League in the first half of the last campaign and was sent out on loan at the first opportunity.

Nedeljkovic made his international debut for Serbia in September 2024 and has made a total of seven appearances for his nation.
