Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta will be working hard to prepare his side for the new Premier League season.
The Spaniard has guided his side to three consecutive second-placed finishes in the top flight, and he will be desperate to finally win the competition this time around.
The Gunners have added Kepa Arrizabalaga, Christian Norgaard and Martin Zubimendi to Arteta’s squad since the end of last season, and it now appears that they are set to complete a fourth summer signing.
According to Fabrizio Romano, Arsenal have reached an agreement to sign defender Cristhian Mosquera from Spanish side Valencia.
Romano claims that the Gunners have reached a verbal agreement to sign the defender, who had already agreed personal terms with the club.

Mosquera, 21, is a product of Valencia’s youth system and has now played 90 times for the Spanish side across all competitions at senior level.
Last season the defender featured 41 times for Carlos Corberan’s side, playing in 37 of their 38 La Liga games.
Romano claims, however, that the Spaniard is now set to move to the Emirates after the two clubs reached an agreement.
It is claimed that the initial fee for the transfer will be around £13 million and, although the Gunners may pay more in add-ons, the total fee will be no more than £17.5 million.
Mosquera is said to have been intent on a move to Arsenal for some time now, with the centre-back not entertaining interest from anywhere else.
His contract with Valencia had been set to expire next summer, but Romano claims that he will undergo a medical with Arsenal later this week before joining the Gunners in time for their pre-season tour of Asia.
