Leeds United’s pre-season programme is now a week old with the squad returning to training last Monday ahead of the 2025-26 Premier League campaign.
The Whites are in action against Manchester United on Saturday. Daniel Farke’s men take on Ruben Amorim’s side at the Strawberry Arena in Stockholm before flying to Germany for a training camp.
All eyes will be on the side that Farke picks for the first of three scheduled friendlies, with Leeds also facing Villarreal and AC Milan before the club’s Premier League opener against Everton on August 18.
Leeds are flying to Stockholm for the clash against Man United this weekend, with Farke set to pick a squad for the match. But there is doubt over whether one player will be allowed to board the plane.

Daniel Farke could leave £11m Leeds player at Thorp Arch
According to a report from Leeds Live, the returning Jack Harrison may not board the plane to Sweden this weekend. Indeed, Leeds Live say that club sources cannot confirm or deny if Harrison will fly over.
Harrison has returned to Leeds after two years on loan at Everton. But with Leeds promoted, the clause allowing him to go on loan to Everton is no longer active and he has been spotted in pre-season training.
Now, Farke could leave the £11m signing at Thorp Arch as the squad take on Man United. It is claimed that his situation is ‘complex’, with Harrison’s wages playing a stumbling block in trying to offload him.

What is the situation regarding Jack Harrison’s contract…
The former New York City and Man City winger signed a new five-and-a-half-year deal shortly after the January window of 2023. It came after Harrison almost joined Leicester, even travelling for a medical.

It saw Harrison handed a big, shiny new contract – but one that included a relegation loan clause. It also saw the likes of Brenden Aaronson and Max Wober leave on loan in the summer of 2023 after relegation.
It means that Harrison has three years remaining on his Elland Road contract. Only new signings Gabriel Gudmundsson, Jaka Bijol and Sebastiaan Bornauw have longer left on their Elland Road contracts.
