Everton still have plenty of work to do in the transfer market despite bringing in a couple of new faces.
The Toffees have lost no fewer than eight players, with Dominic Calvert-Lewin leading the list of departures from Merseyside.
Thierno Barry has already signed for Everton, having joined Carlos Alcaraz in completing a permanent switch to the North West.
Now, David Moyes’ side have been linked with a move for Hellas Verona right back Jackson Tchatchoua.

Everton face competition to land Tchatchoua
Everton reportedly had a bid rejected for Tchatchoua in 2024, but are set to reignite their interest this summer.

The right back was a regular fixture for Hella Verona last season, making 36 appearances in Serie A.
Tchatchoua made five goal contributions and assisted his side defensively as they finished 14th in the Italian top flight.

Now, Everton and Nottingham Forest are competing with Inter Milan to sign the defender, according to SkySport.ch (14 July).
The Cameroonian is regarded as one of the most talented right backs in Serie A and is considered an option if Denzel Dumfries departs Inter this summer.
Furthermore, it is claimed that the 23-year-old has himself given his preference to the Nerazzurri.
Inter would have to pay at least £8.67million to convince Hellas Verona, and the Cameroonian could sign a long-term contract if he were to sign.
The game of dominoes has only just begun, and one deal could trigger a flurry of further activity.

Moyes already has several options at right back amid Tchatchoua links
Everton’s manager is not exactly short of choices at right back, but naturally will want to bolster his options.
The Toffees currently have Seamus Coleman, Nathan Patterson, and Jake O’Brien in that position, although Coleman will likely play a peripheral role.
While Tchatchoua is just a target at this stage, it appears that the Merseyside club would not need to spend big to secure his services.
Although the Cameroon international’s future could hinge on Dumfries’, he presents an appealing option for Moyes.
