According to a report from Sacha Tavolieri, Nathan Zézé (20) is expected to remain at FC Nantes this summer despite interest from multiple clubs in the Premier League. The centre-back has been linked with moves to Aston Villa, Everton FC, and AFC Bournemouth. However, it appears as if all of these clubs will miss out on the talented centre-back.
There is one significant change that appears to be taking place for Zézé, with Tavolieri writing that the defender has been approached by the Côte d’Ivoire national team. The centre-back has been a France youth international, but could be offered a chance to compete with The Elephants at the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations.
Zézé will be hoping for a strong start to life under new Nantes head coach Luís Castro, with a spot in Emerse Faé’s squad up for grabs. The reigning champions will begin their campaign against Mozambique at the Marrakesh stadium.
