After holding talks in January, Chelsea have active interest in Manchester United star Alejandro Garnacho, TBR Football can reveal.
Right now, Alejandro Garnacho’s representatives are working hard to find a new club for the 21-year-old, who wants to leave Man United.
Garnacho has long accepted that his future lies away from Old Trafford, and the Argentina international had been hoping to leave in the January transfer window.
In terms of the winger’s preference, Garnacho would like to ideally remain in England, if not Europe — having distanced himself from a move to the Saudi Pro League, who have offered a deal to his camp.
And TBR Football chief correspondent Graeme Bailey understands that Chelsea retain an active interest in Garnacho and have had recent contact with his people, who are keeping the club informed.
Chelsea are still keen to sign Alejandro Garnacho after Jamie Gittens’ arrival
Despite deals for Jamie Gittens and Joao Pedro already this summer, and the arrival of Estevao, Chelsea remain keen to sign Garnacho.
Noni Madueke is joining Arsenal and the club are also hoping to move on from Christopher Nkunku and Joao Felix.

Of course, Chelsea will also be without Mykhailo Mudryk for the immediate future as well.
In addition to Chelsea, TBR Football can confirm that Aston Villa are still interested in Garnacho too.
Villa fans have already seen a glimpse of the Argentinian in club colours recently, when Garnacho controversially wore a Marcus Rashford shirt, perhaps in tribute to a fellow exiled United teammate.
Unai Emery is prepared to sell Leon Bailey this summer and could therefore be in the market for a new wide player.
Villa are not willing to sell Morgan Rogers as things stand, even if there is plenty of interest from Europe’s elite.
Tottenham have cooled their interest in Alejandro Garnacho
In terms of interest elsewhere in the Premier League, Tottenham Hotspur, who were previously keen on Garnacho, have since swooped for Mohammed Kudus.
Spurs are also pushing to sign Morgan Gibbs-White from Nottingham Forest, even if the deal has been delayed, and Tottenham have also already finalised a permanent deal for Mathys Tel.
As a result, Daniel Levy’s side have put their Garnacho interest on the backburner.
Further afield, Bayern Munich want to bring in at least a couple of forward options this summer and they have also made recent enquiries about Garnacho.
Although, a number of potential options for the 21-year-old have dropped off the radar.
Italian side Napoli were showing strong interest in Garnacho, but they have since moved onto other targets with deals close to being finalised to sign Noa Lang and Dan Ndoye from PSV Eindhoven and Bologna respectively.
Atletico Madrid also opted for Alex Baena ahead of Garnacho, who was very interested in a return to his hometown.
Sources suggest that United would want close to £40m for Garnacho this summer.
