For the last few months, rumors about Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Milwaukee Bucks have swirled all over the NBA.
A lot of people think he will leave the team in the near future, while others believe he will stick it out even if they can’t win a championship in the seasons ahead.
Speaking to NBA TV, Bucks president Peter Feigin talked about the team’s front office and how they perceive the speculation about Antetokounmpo.
“We kind of laugh internally, it’s where we’ve been for 10 years,” Feigin said. “Giannis loves Milwaukee, Milwaukee loves Giannis. We’re in a good place. We feel great about it. It’s business as usual. I think we get kind of a fun little joy in everybody else thinking they know what’s going on and what the clickbait is. He’s enjoying the summer. We’re looking forward to next season.”

That comment should ease the worried minds of Bucks fans, but for how long?
Feigin could be right, and Antetokounmpo might be very happy with his team right now, but that could change in the future.
Imagine if the acquisition of Myles Turner and the other recent roster adjustments don’t help the Bucks in 2025-26.
Envision them coming up short once again.
How will Antetokounmpo feel after that, and will Feigin be just as confident in his team’s biggest star?
It is true that they have a decade-long relationship, but things change quickly in the NBA, especially when a team falls short of its goals.
Antetokounmpo will be back with Milwaukee in the new season, but he could elect to head to a different destination if the Bucks aren’t battling hard enough.
Feigin is confident, but he should be cautious and careful, too.
