Patrick Surtain II Drops 2-Word Salute On Epic Michael Jordan Selfie

Patrick Surtain II, cornerback for the Denver Broncos, was recently seen posing in a selfie with none other than NBA legend Michael Jordan himself. The casual coolness to it all had many NBA and NFL fans reacting to the legendary selfie in the comments section. In the selfie shared on Saturday, Surtain can be seen in a white tank top with diamond chains and a cigar in his mouth. While he flashes a peace sign, the NBA legend flashes his classic grin.

It is not exactly known when or where the selfie was taken, but Surtain was definitely having a good week leading up to the picture. Surtain was recently named as a finalist for Best NFL Player for the ESPY awards. But the selfie with Jordan pales all of this in comparison.

“DA 🐐’s.” Patrick Surtain II captioned the selfie with Michael Jordan, which he shared on his Instagram story.

Patrick Surtain II will be soon gearing up for his fifth season with the Denver Broncos and will be eager to do more for the team in the upcoming NFL campaign. After his stellar performance in the 2024 NFL season, Surtain was named NFL DPOY for his 3 solo tackles and four interceptions. With Surtain, Broncos will be kicking off their 2025 campaign with a matchup against the Tennessee Titans in Week 1.

Patrick Surtain Seen As Major Threat At Wideout Workshop

Patrick Surtain II is definitely considered one of the best cornerbacks out there in the NFL by both former and current players. Quite recently, a class on beating Surtain was taken by former NFL wide receiver Chad Johnson at the Wideout Workshop. This was the first edition of the workshop and saw participants from various teams coming together for the three-day event.

The summit, similar to the Tight End University co-founded by Kansas City Chiefs tight end, Travis Kelce, and San Francisco 49ers tight end, George Kittle, hopes to not only help wide receivers collaborate and come together, but also teaches wide-outs new tricks to practice on the field.

Surtain, being highly regarded as a cornerback on the field, was a hot topic, especially because of his battles with Ja’Marr Chase. Johnson took an entire class, explaining how one can defeat cornerbacks like Surtain, remarking the ‘diamond release’ move as the solution. However, Chase did not seem too eager to practice the move, because it can be pretty to navigate on the field.
