It’s a question that has been asked many times and shows no signs of disappearing: Will Giannis Antetokounmpo leave the Milwaukee Bucks in the near future?
No one knows for sure, but it seems very likely that he will be back with the team for at least one more season.
Speaking on his show, Gilbert Arenas made a prediction, stating that he thinks Antetokounmpo will do whatever he can to remain in Milwaukee as long as possible.
“He seems like probably the most loyal when it comes to what he values—family [and] the only agent that believed in him. He’s a very loyal person, so it seems like he would try to do whatever it takes to stay [in Milwaukee]. He’s willing to stay home and play his career out and try to win there because he knows his legacy depends on it,” Arenas said.
Should Giannis stay in Milwaukee to prove his legacy or is it time for him to move on?! 🤔 pic.twitter.com/PTmA4B9QS7

Loyalty is a huge component of Antetokounmpo’s choice to stay or leave, but it cannot last forever.
He has been with the Bucks since the start of his career and has taken the team to great heights.
However, it has been a few years since the team was competitive in the ways they want to be, and Antetokounmpo has made it clear that he wants to win another championship.
If he feels that isn’t possible with the Bucks, he is not against exploring his options and seeing what else is out there for him.
Some people feel that Antetokounmpo has already given the Bucks more than they deserve, and they believe he should have moved on to another franchise already.
He’s staying put, at least for now, but his loyalty could certainly run out some time soon.
