An insight into the eye-watering figures afforded to some of the top clubs at this summer’s FIFA Club World Cup has on Monday been forthcoming.
This of course comes after the newly-formatted tournament was brought to a close on Sunday night.
Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain locked horns in the CWC showpiece, with the former having ultimately emerged dominant victors, by three goals to nil.
For their surprise triumph, Chelsea, according to **[Diario AS](https://as.com/futbol/internacional/cifras-historicas-el-dinero-en-premios-que-gana-el-chelsea-por-ser-campeon-del-mundial-de-clubes-n/)**, have pocketed €104.7 million.
Runners-up PSG, meanwhile, have added to their coffers by way of a cool €97.4 million.
Turning focus to Spain’s representatives in the USA, Real Madrid’s passage to the competition’s semi-finals earned Los Blancos €74.6 million.
Diego Simeone’s Atlético Mdrid, meanwhile, who endured an altogether less productive campaign en route to a group stage exit, are understood to have brought in a sum of €23 million.
