FPL 2025/26 predicted prices – Newcastle

Is there any hope of getting Alexander Isak for less than £10.0m next season?

That’s one of the main questions we’re pondering as we predict Newcastle United players’ Fantasy Premier League (FPL) prices for 2025/26.

We’ve used FPL Focal’s excellent site for the images below. A big thanks to him for those.

As is the case at Chelsea, most Newcastle defenders – or at least the regulars – will rise in 2025/26. The Magpies were joint-second for clean sheets (13) last season.

Dan Burn and, surprisingly, Tino Livramento didn’t contribute much in the way of goals and assists: just three between them.

But, among FPL defenders, only Virgil van Dijk (14) kept more clean sheets than Burn (13) in the Premier League.

Lewis Hall and Fabian Schar offered potential at both ends, meanwhile.

The Swiss stopper scored four goals and assisted a further two, slightly bettering his points-per-match average (3.4 v 3.5) from the year before. FPL surely don’t decrease his starting price, then?

How much, not whether, Hall rises is the question. £5.0m is a strong possibility, especially as he was absent for the final third of the campaign and his exploits earlier in the season may be forgotten.

But he was averaging 4.1 points per start before injury struck, more than the likes of Daniel Munoz, Marc Cucurella and Nikola Milenkovic were. Had Hall not sustained a broken foot and he had finished the season, he would – at that rate of point-scoring – finished third in the FPL defenders’ points standings. A £5.5m tag could be justified, then.

There’s not much interest in Newcastle’s central midfielders; Joelinton should have been £5.5m years ago but FPL seem content to keep him at £6.0m!

In attack, Anthony Elanga and Jacob Murphy had fine seasons but are now pretty much playing for one spot. A rise of a million to £6.5m sounds about right, given the likely jobshare.

Anthony Gordon, by contrast, had a bit of a below-par year, so could/should drop. £7.0m is perhaps a fair compromise, remembering the superb 183-point season of 2023/24.

As for Isak, he was the top-scoring forward. In everything from goals scored (23) to overall FPL points (211) and points per match (6.2), the Swede was unmatched.

How much is too much? £9.5m or £10.0m is easily justifiable; could he climb even more? FPL may be reluctant: they only handed Ollie Watkins a £1.0m rise after his 228-point campaign in 2023/24.
