The Green Bay Packers’ defense showed improvement in the 2024 NFL season, as they ranked fifth in the league overall with 20.0 points allowed per game and gave up only 313.2 total yards per outing. Those are better numbers than the ones they had in those respective areas in the 2024 season.
Defensive end Rashan Gary played a key part in the Packers’ stop unit last season, as he earned his first career Pro Bowl nod while playing in all 17 games and collecting 7.5 sacks and 47 combined tackles to go with 15 quarterback hits and a forced fumble, Gary made things happen on defense for the Packers, and he will be counted upon to sustain his form – if not, do more – in the 2025 campaign.
The hype around Gary for the upcoming season also just got a boost, with the NFL announcing on Monday that the veteran defensive end is at No. 80 spot of the league’s top 100 players for 2025.
