In a report from Sport Bild on Sunday, Bayern Munich was linked to Arsenal FC winger Leandro Trossard.
However, Sky Germany journalist Florian Plettenberg (via @iMiaSanMia) is refuting that information:
Leandro Trossard is not a ‘hot topic’ at Bayern, contrary to reports. There are no concrete talks taking place.
As noted, this report runs contrary to the aforementioned Sport Bild report. Moreover, this is the second consecutive week where Sky Germany has publicly refuted a report from Sport Bild. While the jury is still out on where Bayern Munich stands with Liverpool FC winger Luis Diaz, it is getting harder to believe the story that Sport Bild reported, which indicated that Bayern Munich had reached an agreement on personal terms with Diaz.
Sooo...where do things stand with Trossard? It is hard to tell. At 30-years-old, he seems a little older than Bayern Munich would seemingly want to for a new winger...but, Trossard would likely be a lot cheaper than some of the other options Bayern Munich has looked into.
