**Bayern Munich are reportedly considering alternatives to Luis Diaz as clubs continue to be priced out of a move for the Colombian.**
Or should I say, Diaz is being priced out of his move.
Rumours in Colombia last week suggested that the former Porto star was to hand in a transfer request and expedite his move from Anfield this summer.
According to Clombian journalist Pipe Sierra – long considered to have the inside track with Diaz – the forward has offers from Barcelon and Bayern Munich.
Sierra reported:_“Lucho Diaz is going to tell Liverpool’s management: either renew my contract or let me leave, because I have an offer from Bayern and another from Barcelona._
_“He wants to stay if they renew his contract – he wants to improve his terms. But if they don’t renew him, then he wants to be allowed to go.”_
While I don’t believe Liverpool will hinder Diaz from leaving the club if these claims are accurate, they will rightfully stand firm of their asking price.
What is the asking price for Luis Diaz this summer as Bayern Munich look at alternatives

According to [BILD](https://sportbild.bild.de/fussball/fc-bayern-muenchen/fc-bayern-setzt-arsenal-star-leandro-trossard-auf-wunschliste-68737f121a0a84412c0f17a6), the Bundesliga outfit may already be looking at alternatives to Diaz as Liverpool prove unyielding on their asking price.
The Reds are reportedly looking to recoup [£72.5m](https://live4liverpool.com/revealed-liverpools-asking-price-for-luis-diaz/) from selling Diaz while Bayern Munich have so far not shown a willingness to pay any higher than €60 million (£51.7m) plus bonuses.
Liverpool have two years left on their contract with Diaz and have clearly made a decision to accept the risk of losing him for free when he is 30 if they do not receive their asking price.
Given the amount of change to the Liverpool squad this summer, it is wise to hold onto a player as talented and experienced as Diaz when there isn’t that much pressure to sell him.
Bayern Munich are reportedly considering a move to sign Arsenal star Leandro Trossard, who is currently unwilling to pen a new deal with the Gunners as he believes his future at the club.
