Recounting all of Oregon's five-star football commitments

Earlier this month, 5-star offensive lineman Immanuel Iheanacho picked Oregon on the Pat McAfee. The commitment sent shockwaves across the recruiting landscape and established the Maryland native as one of the top-rated recruits in program history.

In doing so, Iheanacho became not just one of the highest-rated recruit to pick Oregon, but the 20th 5-star recruit to do so.

While several of those 5-star signatures were added during the first part of the 2000s, the high majority of them have been added by the previous two head coaches: Mario Cristobal and Dan Lanning.

Today, we'll remind readers of the five-stars of the past and provide a brief recounting of their collegiate and professional careers.

NOTE: We're using the 247Sports to identify five-star prospects and not 247Sports Composite rankings or other website's rankings. Players who were 5-stars preceding 247Sports rankings will use the 247Sports Composite rankings instead.
