Arsenal’s pursuit of Sporting Lisbon striker Viktor Gyokeres is ‘at risk of collapsing completely’, Portuguese outlet Record has claimed.
The Gunners continue to work towards a deal for the Sweden international but have failed to satisfy Sporting yet again with their latest proposal.
Arsenal are believed to have offered a fixed €70m fee plus €10m in add-ons for Gyokeres, which Sporting have not accepted, as they would like the add-ons to be more easily achievable.
While all scenarios remain open at this stage, there is a serious risk that negotiations could collapse completely after talks between the three parties ‘reached a dead end’ on Monday.
