Viktor Gyokeres' move to Arsenalis almost at the 'Here We Go' stage, Fabrizio Romano has confirmed.

Romano has confirmed David Ornstein's line that the Gunners have agreed a deal that will see them pay Sporting €63.5 million as a fixed fee, with €10m in add-ons.

All that is remaining to complete the agreement is to decide how these add-ons are reached.

Then, Gyokeres will complete his medical and sign his Arsenal contract.

Gyokeres to join Arsenal

"The Here We Go for Gyokeres to Arsenal is coming very soon, "Romano told his YouTube channel.

"The agents of Gyokeres are in London. They are in constant meetings with Arsenal to get the deal done.

"So any moment could be Here We Go.

"Arsenal are waiting on the final approval from Sporting on the structure of the €10m bonuses.

"They are waiting for final approval from Sporting on their proposal for how these bonuses will be activated."

Arsenal have been in negotiations to sign Gyokeres for several weeks but until now had not been able to agree on a transfer fee amidst a public war between the player and his club Sporting Lisbon.

The war has been ongoing all summer between the player’s entourage and his club over his asking price.

Gyokeres’ agents claimed that Sporting broke a promise to sell him for around €60m plus €10m in bonuses, while Sporting denied a promise was ever made.

This led to Gyokeres refusing to turn up to pre-season training in a bid to force a move through to Arsenal.

This follows on from his brilliant form from last season for Sporting where he scored 43 goals in all competitions for his club.
