Nottingham Forest are in desperate need of a breakthrough when it comes to the transfer market this summer.
Anthony Elanga has signed for Newcastle, whilst Forest have reported Tottenham for an apparent illegal approach for Morgan Gibbs-White.
Igor Jesus has signed for Forest, whilst Ross Wilson heaped praise on Jair Cunha after he checked in on Trentside from Botafogo.
Forest haven’t managed to sign a player since Elanga departed for Newcastle last week, with Johan Bakayoko now set to sign for Leipzig too.
It would appear that Forest aren’t finished when it comes to players leaving the City Ground either, and more departures look likely in the coming weeks.

Bologna eye Forest gem Eric da Silva Moreira
It wouldn’t appear as though Nuno Espirito Santo fancies Moreira all that much, with Football Italia claiming that Bologna want to swoop in for him.
The young German performer signed from St Pauli last summer and played a part in the Forest squad during the early stages of the campaign after shining in pre-season.
Moreira played in the Carabao Cup defeat against Newcastle last season and also managed a couple of substitute appearances in the Premier League.
MORE FOREST STORIES
He finished the season with the B-Team, however, and helped them finish the campaign with a flourish as they lifted the Premier League International Cup.
Moreira only cost £1.5 million, and it would appear that the club will make a significant profit should they choose to sell him to Bologna this summer.
Forest need incoming deals to appease the fan base
Forest fans are rightly getting a little bit tetchy over the lack of transfers so far this summer, even if Jesus and Cunha represent steady pieces of business.
Moreira leaving probably wouldn’t be a bad thing, as he has looked some way short of being a Premier League player at this early stage of his career.
At 19, the future could be bright for Moreira, but it’s highly likely that he will want to be playing regular football at this stage of his career.
Moreira might be set for a bright future, but if Bologna come calling with a decent offer, it might be in the best interests of everyone if it’s accepted.
